This wooden ashcatcher (or "incense holder") is great for holding incense sticks. There are decorative brass inlays along the sides of the burner and a brass cresent moon at the end.
This is the Clearance version. There are some minor flaws such as tiny flecks on the inset brass (easily removed with brass cleaner), or a price tag stuck to it (also easily removed with a fingernail or a dishwashing sponge and soap).
It is perfectly usable, but it is not as "pretty" as the regular stock, so we are selling it 50% off.
Stick the non-burning end of the incense into the little hole in the raised part of the ashcatcher, light the incense, and watch the ashes fall onto the flat part of the object. (Thus, the name \"Ash Catcher\").
When you are done, you can carry the ash catcher to the trash--it has a convenient little recessed ridge where the ashes gather--and dump it safely. (For safety reasons, please be careful that there is NO spark or ember in the ashes before you dump them!)
